Engaging with the National Year of Reading
The Education Performance and Achievement sub-group of the Strategic Education Partnership in Bexley recognise the impact of reading across all areas of the curriculum. As such, much of their work over the past few years has focussed on this, whether it be developing reading exemplification or creating a Bexley Book List.
The National Year of Reading 2026 has been developed by the National Literacy Trust along with Go All In, and we felt it important to share the wide array of information and resources available through this programme and we hope you find it helpful.
We have pulled together information about the National Year of Reading and whilst this document focuses on the educational elements for Early Years settings, schools and families, there are also resources available for other services such as workplaces, community organisations and libraries, so please do share with those who might be interested in finding out more!
