Finding out what Bexley does best
Members welcomed Beverley Gardner, Chief Executive of Trinitas Multi-Academy Trust, as new co-chair joining Sue Brooks, Chief Executive of Ignis Academy Trust, at the Workforce Development, Succession Planning and Governance sub-group meeting. The focus of the meeting, held on 16th March 2021, was on how to best support the development of education leaders throughout Bexley.
First off, early next term, they will be reaching out to you to find out what expertise and training opportunities there are within Bexley schools, trusts and the Local Authority, which could lead to a shared Bexley-wide CPD framework. Other key strands of work will include supporting governance, particularly development and succession planning, ensuring staff wellbeing and enhancing the Bexley Education Supply Service. There will be opportunities for leaders to take part in task and finish groups to direct some of this work in due course.
