London RISE Fortnight 9th – 18th March 2026
Over one hundred schools are opening their doors between March 9th and March 18th 2026 to other education professionals to share
strong effective practice in the four national education priority areas:
- Attendance
- Inclusion
- Best Start in Life
- Attainment
The London RISE Open Education Fortnight is a collaborative pan-London initiative dedicated to showcasing and sharing exemplary
educational practices that are making a positive impact on children’s learning and development across all age phases.
Colleagues across London are generously sharing their work, free of charge, by hosting visits for other professionals.
Make sure you and your school/education teams take the opportunity to visit one or more of our London RISE open education fortnight host schools. This is a great opportunity to extend teachers’ and educational leaders’ professional growth and learning.
In Bexley, we have two schools hosting sessions:
- Best Start in Life – Securing Reception Year Quality. Harris Garrard, Wednesday 18th March, 9am-12pm Harris Securing Reception Year Quality Harris Garrard Academy
- Attendance – Stronger together: Building Attendance Systems through partnerships. Federation of Barnehurst Schools, Monday 16th March, 9:15 am to 11:30 am
