SEN Toolkit to be shared with parents and carers of children at SEN Support

The Quality First Teaching and SEN Support toolkit, launched to head teachers and SENCos in Summer 2019, will be shared at a conference for parents and carers of children at SEN Support on Wednesday 30th October 2019.  Do share the flyer below with your relevant parents and carers and remind them to book by 21st October 2019 via sensupport.conference@bexley.gov.uk

The Quality First Teaching and SEN Support toolkit has been well-received in schools and many schools have already trained their staff and some have also shared it with parents.

This conference for parents and carers will demonstrate some examples of good SEN Support practice in our schools as well as offering workshops on strategies parents are using at home they may want to share with professionals as well as supporting the development of a ‘one page profile’ for their children.

It is going to be a packed day and we hope that families with children with SEN will enjoy the day, gain a better understanding of quality teaching first and SEN support and will provide us all with ideas and strategies they use successfully at home and which may be beneficial to enhance and enrich our own practice.
