Seeking EYFS leaders’ views around speech, language and communication

Could you ask your early years leader to fill in our  EYFS Speech, Language and Communication survey?
The Education Performance and Achievement sub-group, in conjunction with the Local Authority Early Years team, is asking EYFS leaders to fill in a survey around children’s speech, language and communication needs, an area of growing concern, particularly in the light of pre-school closures since the COVID-19 lock-down.
Your views will inform the work of the sub-group’s early years language focus group and help shape the LA’s training offer going forward.  There’s also an opportunity to take part in a project with the LA.
The deadline for responses is Wednesday 15th July, 2020 and we will be sending an invitation directly to EYFS leaders, shortly.
