Could you co-chair the EPA sub-group?

A big thank-you to Andrew Hogarth, who is retiring from Pelham Academy Trust at the end of the summer, for all of the hard work and energy he has put into driving the work of the Education Performance and Achievement sub-group over the last two years.
That now leaves a vacancy to co-chair the sub-group.  If you would be interested in taking this position, do self-nominate here.
The sub-group has been working to reduce the disadvantaged gap through addressing the word gap at every stage.  It has just launched its Closing the Word Gap toolkit, and is working on reading for pleasure initiatives and on understanding and addressing language and literacy gaps at transitions into primary and secondary school.  Find out more on the Education Performance and Achievement sub-group page.
If you would like to discuss what is involved do contact victoria.marsh@bexley.gov.uk or elizabeth.bedwin@bexley.gov.uk
There are one or two other vacancies on sub-groups, where head teachers have moved out of borough, so if you would like to participate from September, self-nominate here.
