Consultation update for the SEND Special Provision Capital Fund

The consultation around Bexley’s proposals for how it intends to spend additional funding of £954,430 from the DfE for the SEND Special Provision Capital Fund closed on Friday 29th March 2019.  This brings the total to £3,481,482 spread across three years, 2018/19 to 2020/21.

Updated details of how Bexley intends to spend this money following the consultation, have been published on the Local Offer page, in line with the Government’s requirement that the information is made available to parents, carers and other local groups.

Bexley’s vision is that all early years’ settings, schools and colleges are able to deliver high quality education for children and young people with SEND, with a view to keeping as many children in borough as possible.
