Financial benchmarking tool aids understanding of Bexley schools
The Department for Education’s financial benchmarking tool will be used by the Workforce Development, Succession Planning and Governance sub-group to put together a data dashboard to inform its work. The tool allows the user to compare key school data, such as teaching staff: pupil ratio, with named schools or statistically similar schools around the country. At the sub-group meeting of 2nd May 2019, members also agreed the substance of a career stage CPD framework, which would be ready for September 2019, and planned to produce a case study around using the Apprenticeship Levy to fund CPD in schools.
