Head teacher induction booklet under development for 2019/20

A head teacher induction booklet is being developed for new head teachers from September 2019.  The contents of the booklet were discussed in the Workforce Development, Succession Planning and Governance sub-group meeting and it was agreed that it would include: new head teacher support mechanisms; arrangements for supporting vulnerable children, looked after children and children with SEND; information about admissions, governance and other LA services; and contact details of external services such as police liaison officers.

Hard copies of the booklet will be given to all new head teachers to Bexley and it will also be available on this website for all head teachers to access.
