Language toolkit pilot study – could your school participate?
The Language Toolkit, created by members of the Education Performance and Achievement sub-group and shared in draft form at Head Teacher Forum on 10th December 2020, is now ready to be piloted by schools to make sure it is as useful as it can be.
Its aim is to support leaders, teachers and governors in understanding how well their schools support language acquisition and development and it can be used by both primary and secondary schools.
Participating schools will need to commit to using the toolkit for four weeks, responding to a feedback questionnaire and attending a feedback meeting during the course of the Spring term. Once any revisions have been made, the toolkit will be rolled out to all schools in May 2021.
