No Success with SSIF bids

As the Strategic School Improvement Fund closes with just 40% of the promised £140m fund spent, neither of the local authority’s bids around governance and children at SEN Support was successful.  Bexley hopes to find other funding to implement some of its proposals.

The SSIF was set up by the Department for Education to support schools and academies in areas including leadership, governance, teaching methods and financial management.
