Recruiting NOW for the Reading for Pleasure pilot

A Reading for Pleasure pilot will be starting shortly, based on the six strategies contained in Oxford School Improvement’s Building an Outstanding Reading School .  The report explores the relationship between a school’s reading culture and children’s attainment, considering how reading for pleasure can be organised to support all children to become confident, keen and capable readers.

The pilot, organised by the Education Performance and Achievement sub-group, aims to  support schools in testing the strategies outlined in the report, measuring what impact the work has had on children and their enjoyment of reading.
