REED agency framework yields cost savings for schools
Although fewer than 20% of Bexley schools are using the Reed agency framework, set up to support schools to keep supply staffing costs to a minimum, the number of days procured has risen significantly during the pandemic, members of the Workforce Development, Succession Planning and Governance sub-group learnt at their meeting of 5th November 2020. All Bexley schools can access the service, but those which use any Bexley SLA are entitled to use the service for free; if they refer another school to the service, they clock up a free supply day themselves. Members also refined the sub-group action plan and read and gave feedback on a new Governance welcome pack for new and aspiring governors.
