Share the Easter Holiday Activities and Food Programme
Please could you send this information to your families who qualify for ‘non universal’ free school meals and encourage them to participate in the Holiday Activities and Food Programme over the Easter holidays. The scheme is for children who receive benefits-related free school meals, and, for the first time, to other groups.
Between Monday 4th and Friday 15th April 2022, Bexley is funding 25 providers to offer more than 5,800 places across the borough offering a range of enrichment activities, healthy meals and food education for both participants and their families. Some 15 per cent of the places will now be available for pupils in the following categories:
- Looked after children

- Young people on a child protection plan
- Young people living in areas of high deprivation
- Children and young people known to social care
- Refugee and Asylum seeking families
