Free “Routes to Compassion” workshop
Routes to Compassion Workshop
Routes to Compassion is a free youth-led workshop by Forced to Flee, designed to help young people navigate narratives of division and bridge divides in their communities.
Delivered by young people, the workshop creates a safe space for participants to learn and ask questions around migration, whilst equipping them with practical, transferable tools for bridging divides and centering compassion in their local areas. Sessions are predominantly interactive and participant-led, with a flexible length of 60 to 90 minutes. They have recently led a workshop for the Bexley Youth Council, which saw participants rating their confidence speaking about migration at an average of 4/10 before the session and 8/10 after.
Free for schools and youth groups, and shaped around you. Whether your students would benefit most from exploring migration or from practical tools for bridging divides, we’ll tailor the content and timing to fit your timetable and priorities.
