Language under the microscope
Along with plotting the timeline for the launch of their much-anticipated cross-phase language toolkit, Education Performance and Achievement sub-group members addressed other areas related to language development in their meeting of 28th January 2021.
They are particularly keen to share your good practice in encouraging reading, especially where children are learning remotely, on the website Skills Directory. Do contact Liz Bedwin if you would be prepared to share, or upload via the Skills Directory page, using the Submit a new listing button.
They are also setting up a task and finish group to address language at transition into secondary school, with the aim of having impact in the summer term.
