Working with Boys training – 16th November 2026

Help boys to thrive in school by creating cultures of mutual respect – an anti-misogyny programme

Following on from the incredible feedback we received from Andrew Hampton’s “Girls on Board” training, we are welcoming Andrew back to host training on his “Working with Boys” programme.

Working with Boys is a whole-school programme that helps boys from Year 5 upwards grow into confident, reflective young men who treat others with genuine respect. Through this training, teachers learn how to shape boys’ peer cultures so that mutual respect becomes the norm, empowering girls and driving out misogyny and harmful sexual behaviour.

Once trained in the Working with Boys programme, teachers will be able to:

  • Support boys to regulate their behaviour and language, forming relational cultures that are consistently imbued with dignity.
  • Enable girls to feel genuinely safe in school, protected from harmful behaviours and able to learn and lead with confidence.

The Working with Boys programme was created by Andrew Hampton who was a Headteacher for 18 years. He is the creator of Girls on Board and author of When Girls Fall Out, Working with Boys and How to Run a School.
