RISE: Focus on mainstream inclusion conference 24th March 2026

Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower BridgeLondon, England

Tuesday, Mar 24 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm GMT
Overview
Focus on mainstream inclusion conference for inspiring talks, networking, and actionable strategies.

You will hear the government’s vision for an inclusive mainstream school system, and from sector experts about how inclusive schools are providing early, effective support for children with SEND.

Who should attend

This event is for secondary school headteachers, senior leaders and those who lead on inclusion and/or SEND in schools, trusts and local authorities. There is limited capacity at the venue so we ask that no more than two people register from a single establishment. For those who can’t secure a space we will be offering a series of live webinars which will cover the main topics on the agenda and the breakout sessions.

Registration is from 9am and refreshments will be available. The conference will be opened at 9:30am by the Regional Director and will close at 3:30pm. A light lunch will be provided.

Afternoon breakouts sessions – when you register you will be asked to choose three from:

  • Use of assistive technology – discover how local schools are using assistive tech to support learners and enhance their school experience.
  • Effective in-school units – how schools near you are using their existing resources to implement effective in-school units within their settings.
  • Using data to support inclusion – understand how schools in your area are using data to understand their students’ needs and improve inclusivity, and how they are sharing this data.
  • Successful transitions – learn how other schools are working together to support students with SEND in the transition from KS2 to KS3.
