Weekly returns to help support vulnerable children

The co-chairs of the Inclusion sub-group plan to share and take feedback on a draft regular returns spreadsheet around children excluded from school, children moving between schools and those missing education, at BASL and BPSL meetings.  Inclusion sub-group members learnt, at their meeting of 11th May 2020, that head teachers would be asked to share this information, which would be used by all relevant LA services with a view to increasing system connectivity around supporting vulnerable children.

Members also learned that a medical needs provision task and finish group would be set up, including members from both the Inclusion and Places and Planning sub-groups, to understand what was currently available and what changes might be made to better meet the needs of children in Bexley going forward.
